Passion for South African Creative Talent

The story of EZ Promosies began long before the company officially carried its name.

From 1996, the late Ezelle van der Walt was actively involved in the bookings and promotion of her son, renowned South African panflute artist Ryan Walt, working alongside various other promotion agents during the early years of his career. As the entertainment career of her younger son, Steven Sterling, developed, Ezelle also became involved in his bookings and promotion.

By 2006, Ezelle began working independently under the name EZ Promosies, taking responsibility for the bookings, marketing and promotion of Ryan Walt and Steven Sterling and establishing what would become a trusted family name in the South African entertainment industry.

Built on personal relationships, dedication and a genuine passion for South African talent, EZ Promosies became an important part of supporting and developing the careers of both brothers.

When Ezelle later became ill, Ryan and Steven temporarily took responsibility for their own bookings while continuing to operate through the EZ Promosies name.

Today, EZ Promosies has entered a new chapter under the management of Lizet van der Walt, Ezelle's daughter-in-law. While proudly continuing the foundation and legacy Ezelle established, the company is expanding into a broader artist bookings, marketing and promotional agency, representing both established and emerging South African performers.

Our role extends beyond simply securing performances. EZ Promosies works to connect artists with venues, restaurants, pubs and grills, event organisers, churches, corporate clients, festivals, markets, retirement communities, hospitality establishments and private clients throughout South Africa.

We assist our artists with professional bookings, marketing, promotion and representation, while building lasting relationships with venues and clients and creating sustainable performance opportunities.

What started with a mother supporting the musical careers of her sons has developed into a growing promotional company with a vision to create opportunities for a wider community of South African artists.
